Formal language/Informal language Formal language: Formal language is usually used in literacy English and with elders and seniors in a serious atmosphere. Informal language: Informal language usually used in spoken English with friends in an atmosphere.

  E.O.P The words which extend the predicate usually after the object of a sentence are called an extension of the predicate. Ex.   Predicate: After the subject, the rest of the words of a sentence (H.v, main verb, object, etc.) are called the predicate. 

  Helping verb: When is,am,are,was,were,been,do,does,did are used before other verb,are called helping verbs. 

  Modal auxiliary verbs: Can, Could, May, Might, Will, Would, Shall, Should, Must, Ought to and Used to are called "model auxiliary verbs".

  Complement: A complement tells us something about the nature of the subject or object. Note: compliment can be a noun, a noun phrase, adjective, pronoun, or a number. 1.
